Your introduction to Medioora

Learn the essential workflows from a user's perspective. Each lesson lasts one to two minutes and demonstrates one manageable step with a concrete example.

What you will learn

  • Find your way around the workspace and create your first project and document.
  • Write, refine, find and link requirements.
  • Follow relationships in the traceability view and resolve questions through comments and reviews.
  • Specify a test, link it to a requirement and record a test run.
  • Capture a document version and export it as a PDF.

How to use this course

The videos use on-screen instructions without voice or music. Each lesson includes a learning goal, an example, a practice task and the complete video text.

All exercises use the fictional Aster learning project. Use your own learning project for practice. The testing lessons require a suitably configured test specification and a prepared device under test. Available features depend on your project configuration and licence.

Share the result as a PDF

Export a document from a deliberately chosen version and inspect it.

Prerequisite: A document version is available and PDF export is enabled in your installation.

Example

Open the system requirements from version 0.2 as a PDF; check the ID, content and version label.

Steps

  1. Open the required document version
  2. Choose Export and PDF
  3. Open the file
  4. Check the content and version
  5. Save it for sharing

Exercise

Export a chosen version and verify its ID, content and version before sharing it.

Read the video text
  1. Share the result as a PDF. First open the exact document version you want to share.
  2. Check the source version. This view shows System requirements – Version 0.2.
  3. Choose Export as PDF. Use the PDF export in the version view. Availability depends on your deployment and licence.
  4. Open the exported PDF. Check the document title, requirement ID and complete requirement text.
  5. Check the version label. The footer must match the version you intended to export.
  6. Keep a meaningful file name. Store the file with the project, document and version so recipients can identify its source.
  7. An export is a document copy. Exporting does not itself approve the requirement or change the review decision.
  8. Try it yourself. Export a chosen version and verify its ID, content and version before sharing it.

Fictional learning project. Example requirements and test values are for practising the software only.
