These terms govern the use of medioora.com, its learning content, the Medioora web application and its optional AI functions.

A. Website and general offers
Individual offers, licence terms, service descriptions, SLAs and AVVs prevail over these terms where they address the same subject. The offers are intended for businesses and organisations. Users must comply with applicable law, protect their systems and credentials, and may not circumvent security, overload or scrape the services, infringe rights, upload malware or use the services for unlawful, discriminatory, threatening or fraudulent purposes.
Website information and learning content are provided for general information and training. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, completeness, accuracy or suitability for a particular purpose. External links and third-party services are governed by their providers’ terms.
B. Medioora
Medioora is a business requirements-engineering application. Accounts are created and administered exclusively by an administrator of the customer’s organisation. Users must keep their user name and password confidential and report suspected misuse immediately.
Customers retain responsibility for their documents, requirements, comments, files and other content and must have the necessary rights and permissions. Medioora may store, display, version, synchronise and back up that content to provide the contracted service. Notifications may be sent through Microsoft 365/Exchange Online.
Maintenance, security measures and technical incidents may temporarily affect availability. Export, deletion, termination and support are governed by the applicable customer agreement.
C. AI functions
AI functions are optional, are triggered only by an explicit user action and may be disabled by administrators. Only the prompt, the open document and expressly selected item context are sent to the OpenAI API. Users must not submit data they are not authorised to process, unnecessary personal data, patient data or confidential information.
AI output may be incorrect or incomplete and must be reviewed by a qualified person before use. It is not professional advice and must not be used as the sole basis for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. OpenAI acts as a technical provider under the applicable AVV/DPA. Model, availability and processing settings may change. Rights in user content remain with the user or customer; rights in AI output depend on applicable law and the provider terms.
D. Website and learning content
Learning content may be used only for the agreed personal or organisational training purpose. Copyright, database rights, trademarks and other rights remain with MEDtech Ingenieur GmbH or the respective rights holder. Systematic copying, resale, public distribution or use to train competing systems is prohibited. Users are responsible for comments, ratings and other contributions. Certificates, if offered, confirm completion only and do not guarantee a particular learning or professional outcome.
E. Liability and final provisions
Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical damage; liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health and product liability remains unaffected. German law applies. For merchants and legal entities under public law, the courts at Erlangen, Germany, have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory venues.
